Kay Hazen – Background

A longtime advocate for business, health and wellness, the environment and the creative community, Kay Hazen spent more than twenty years in hospital administration before joining private developer Mine Reclamation Corporation as VP for Public/Government Affairs.

President of her own Palm Springs, CA based firm since 2000, Kay’s career experience in business, management, marketing, strategy and planning allows her to provide a full range of strategic advice and counsel to her clients.

An active and engaged civic leader, Kay Hazen has served as Chairman of the Palm Springs International Film Festival and was a founder of the Coachella Valley Economic Partnership and the Friends of the Desert Mountains, a land trust and support arm for the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto National Monument.

Kay was recently honored with the Palm Springs Life 2023 Women Who Lead: Outstanding Achievement Award, and was inducted into the Black Hawk College Alumni Hall of Fame.
